Summer Music INTENSIVE 2026

The Sound Bridges Summer Music Intensive is built around a deliberately small cohort of dedicated young musicians in grades 5–12. With enrollment intentionally limited, students receive individual attention through private lessons, chamber music coaching, and side-by-side performing experiences with faculty. The curriculum also includes music history, theory, and ear training, offering a well-rounded and immersive approach to musical development. Designed for eager and motivated young artists, this intensive provides a focused, supportive environment for artistic growth at a high level. This curated opportunity allows students to showcase their talents, gain performance experience, and connect with a broader community of young musicians.

*Students who participate in our Summer Music Camp will become eligible to participate in additional competitions and festivals affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).

SAMPLE SCHEDULE

10:00 am -10:50 am | chamber rehearsal/coaching
11:00 am -12:00 pm | individual lessons/group workshop on history/theory/ear training
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm | lunch or cooking class
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | fun activity (i.e. ping-pong tournament, card games)
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm | side-by-side ensemble rehearsal with faculty (string orchestra/piano)

OPTIONAL RECORDING - Professional level

An optional professional individual recording session on Saturday, August 8th, with Ms. Minji Nam accompanying the student. Recording materials are suitable for summer festival auditions, college/graduate school applications, or scholarships. This includes additional individual lessons and/or coachings to prepare the student for the recording session:

$175 Solo Recording (without piano accompaniment)
$375 Recording (with piano accompaniment)
